About Wealthy Affiliate
Wealthy Affiliate is a very resourceful membership site for anyone wanting to make money online. Unlike many memberships sites in internet marketing, this membership has been around for a while. It is run by two very successful internet marketers named Kyle and Carson who created this site with the sole purpose of helping others become successful in the affiliate marketing business.

My Experience
I joined Wealthy Affiliate(WA) last year and I really love this membership site. The first thing that stood out to me was the forum. I have to say this has to be one of the most active forums in internet marketing outside of the Warrior Forum.
It is not hard to find help when you have a problem because there are plenty of advanced marketers willing to help. It is the next best thing to private coaching. Not to mention the help Kyle and Carson, the founders of Wealthy Affiliate, provide to members.
The membership has recently had several new features or upgrades that make it even better. There is an 8 Week Action Plan that you go through which is very educational and will get you started on the right foot. When I started this I thought it was more for beginners but by week four, I quickly realized that even advanced marketers would benefit from the training. The plan focuses on action and getting results. You will learn a certain aspect such researching a niche then you have action items you must complete before you go to the next lesson.
You will get training in Search Engine Optimization(SEO), Pay Per Click(PPC), Website design, List Building, Email Marketing, finding profitable niches, and much much more.
Then you get the tools, which are my favorite parts of the site. There are market research tools, competition research tools, link protector for your affiliate links, a clickbank research tool, and many more.
I use some of these tools but I have personal tools that I have purchased that work better in some cases plus I am just more efficient using my own. That doesn’t mean tools on wealthy Affiliate are not any good it is just personal preference.
Another nice addition to the members area is what is known as Niche Q. This is a service that uncovers profitable niches each month and you are provided with keywords, articles, custom website, email marketing campaines and more.
I could go on and on about what you will find at Wealthy Affiliate but the main thing I want to emphasize is this is overall a GREAT membership site.
As soon as you log into the members area, you will find this membership site is jammed packed with information.
The Bad
The one thing I wish were better or different being a better word, is the 8 Week Action Plan. You cannot got through the course any faster then the eight weeks. When you finish week 3, for instance, you have to wait until week 4 unlocks before you can start those lessons.
It is good in a way and bad in a way. Of course, many say it is for your own good so you do all the lessons and not skip any to get through the course.
The other is the fact that there is a lot of information here and you can easily make the mistake of spending most of your time learning instead of doing, like I did. I was not the taking action because I was trying to learn everything I could. It was good that I was learning but I found myself spending way too much time trying to learn everything before trying anything. I just want to let you know that so you don’t make the same mistake I did if you are just beginning.
